Construction Phase

Robertson Capital Projects undertakes a number of active management roles during the design and construction delivery phase over and aboveĀ its role as an equity shareholder. These roles vary on a project to project basis, and are focused on not only monitoring the performance of design and build supply chain partners, but ensuring the best possible outcomes for all parties in this crucial phase of overall project delivery.

Roles carried out during the construction phase include:

  • Leading and attending project company board meetings with equity partners
  • Chairing monthly client review meetings including contractor, client, FM partner and bank representatives
  • Arranging finance drawdowns from funder and agreeing monthly construction invoices
  • Active management of the construction delivery phase with full time project management personnel advising on issues such as compliance, programme and handover
  • Managing the Reviewable Design Data (RDD) process and client initiated variations
  • Ensuring the SPV performs in line with its contractual obligations
  • Working with FM supply chain to ensure effective mobilisation, TUPE transfer requirements, handover documentation and Planned Preventative Maintenance programmes
