This project comprised the design, construction and funding of two new secondary and six primary schools, including the provision of two community swimming pools in the secondary schools, built over two phases. Phase 1 has provided four new primary schools and one secondary school, with Phase 2 delivering the remaining two primaries and new Academy.
Funding has been secured through an innovative monoline bond arrangement. The project company includes Dundee City Council as a shareholder, one of the first true partnership arrangements of its kind in Scotland. As well as providing hard and soft services, Robertson Facilities Management supports an innovative arrangement in subcontracting cleaning services to the Local Authority’s in-house FM provider.
