Chester le Street Community Hospital PFI

The project comprised the development of forty care of the elderly inpatient beds, four palliative care beds, children’s centre, elderly day hospital, rehabilitation and outpatients facility, radiology, dentistry, podiatry, gym, physiotherapy, speech/language therapy and a reception/pharmacy. Primary care group HQ accommodation and dedicated support accommodation for Robertson Facilities Management are also provided.  Robertson Facilities Management was awarded winner of the 2006 “Best Practice in a PFI/PPP Contract” by the British Institute of Facilities Management Excellence and received a PEAT (Patient Environment Action Team) scoring of “Excellent”, providing a benchmark for best practice across all project sites.
