Robertson Announce New Group Finance Director

Stuart Roberts, Managing Director for Corporate Finance Advisory Business at Quayle Munro, is to join infrastructure, support services and construction group, Robertson as Group Finance Director.

Joining the main group board, Stuart will start with the Stirling based company at the end of January.

During his time with Quayle Munro Stuart was primarily responsible for the development of their Debt Advisory business whilst also undertaking a Scottish Corporate Finance mandate.

Welcoming him to the board, Group Chief Executive Andrew Cowan said:
"I am delighted to announce Stuart's appointment to the main Robertson Group board, he will be a welcome addition to the reshaped board. Stuart's appointment will underpin our strong market position and reinforces our strategy for growth and continual development.

As a business Robertson is a long standing client of Quayle Munro and Stuart's appointment will further deepen this successful and positive relationship. I look forward to welcoming him to our Stirling HQ in the new year."

Prior to his role at Quayle Munro Stuart held various posts at RBS and Bank of Scotland where he was involved in a number of acquisitions and restructures across a wide spectrum of business.

Stuart Roberts is the latest high profile addition to the senior ranks of the Robertson business. At the start of November Jim McIntyre, a former Director of Scottish Enterprise, joined the group board as Managing Director for Strategy and Development. In October, Calum MacPherson, the former Highlands and Islands Enterprise Area Manager for Moray took up his post of Strategy and Business Development Director. Former Engineering Director for United Utilities, Mark Wilson, also recently took up his role as Managing Director for the timber engineering business within Robertson.
